City & Guilds
If you love sewing and wish to improve your skills, why not study a subject in greater depth and get a qualification. We are able to offer Level 2 City & Guilds in Fashion 7822 02, Tailoring 7822 28, Lingerie 7822 26 and Corsetry 7823 16.
Cost
A City & Guilds qualification for 2009 costs £2400.00 per subject. This fee includes all your tuition, enrolment charges, verification, certification, etc... There will be additional costs for fabrics, books, etc...
Students need to enrol for City & Guilds before the end of January 2009. Tuition consists of approximately twenty days of tuition at the sewing school made up of mandatory dates and workshops chosen from section 2 and 3 of this brochure. The workshops are taught by Alison Smith and Ruth Cox. You will complete your course within a year.
Each subject is divided into two units:
Unit 1 Design for Craft
and
Unit 2 Craft
Both units have to be taken and passed.
