City & Guilds
If you love sewing and wish to improve your skills, why not study a subject in greater depth and get a qualification. We are the only sewing school able to offer this qualification and as we are completely independent we are still able to work to the old syllabus and not the new modular format. We are able to offer Level 2 in either Fashion 7822 02, Tailoring 7822 28, Lingerie 7822 26 or Corsetry 7823 16.
Cost
A qualification for 2010 costs £2,100.00 + VAT. This fee includes all your tuition, enrolment charges, verification, certification, etc... There will be additional costs for fabrics, books, etc...
Students need to enrol for City & Guilds before the end of 2009 as the course starts in January 2010. You have to be able to attend the mandatory dates - all of which are on Mondays plus additional workshops on dates of your choice from the main course directory.
Each subject is divided into two units:
Unit 1 Design for Craft
and
Unit 2 Craft
Both units have to be taken and passed.
