Course Fee: £240.00 + VAT
This three day workshop is aimed at students who already
have a basic knowledge of speed tailoring. Over the three
days you have the opportunity to complete a speed tailored
jacket of your choice. Discover the perfect set in sleeve and how to shape
your collar. If you come to the class with your toile already made then we can
start with getting the fit prior to cutting out.
I would advise students to choose a simple style of jacket in order to benefit
fully from this workshop. Patterns and fabrics and suitable fusibles etc can be
purchased from the shop.
Material Costs: Suitable interlinings and interfacings will be available
for you to purchase.

Basic sewing skills and machine skills. You will have used a commercial pattern previously and know basic seam and construction techniques. |

Very confident sewing skills, able to work reasonably quickly and accurately with a knowledge of cutting on a bias grain, pattern making and sewing terminology. An ability to recognize pattern shapes. |
