The Couture Finish and Finishing Techniques
Tutor: Alison Smith
Tuesday 23rd March 2010
Monday 13th September 2010
Course Fee: £80.00 + VAT
An essential workshop for sewers of all abilities, as I show you how to eliminate
that home made look from your garments. You will discover why it is essential
to interline some garments and which interlinings to choose.
Discover how the correct choice of interlining and interfacing can change the
appearance of a fabric. All the interlinings and interfacing fabrics we discuss
are a woven non fusible type and are still used by the couture industry today.
Samples will be made by all students that relate to invisible hem application,
concealed zip insertion and lining.
Material Costs: £25.00
